Biography
Sarah Burnett-Wolle (pronounced Burnett-Wally), PhD CTRS, Assistant Professor of Therapeutic Recreation, completed her PhD in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Management and a minor in Gerontology at Penn State. While there, she was awarded a 3-year predoctoral fellowship from the National Institute on Aging. Her M.S. in Recreation and Leisure Studies is from SUNY Cortland and her B.A. in Psychology is from SUNY Purchase. Her research interests include older adults social networks and senior housing. Her free time is devoted to her family and friends, hiking, kayaking, camping, and snowshoeing. She is a member of the Central Adirondack Search and Rescue Team (http://www.casart.org/). She and her spouse, Chris, live in the Adirondack Park with K2 the cat.
