Biography
Lois A. Fisch, Ph.D. is a Professor of Education and Director of Online Programs in Education. Dr. Fisch is secretary for the American Association of University Professors - Utica College and a founding member of ACSS (Adapting Curriculum for Student Success). She serves on the Executive Board of the New York Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (NYACTE), the Teacher Education Advisory Group to the New York State Commissioner of Education (TEAG) and the New York Teacher of the Year Selection Committee. Her teaching experience spans all grades and ability levels for students from age three through graduate level adults. Dr. Fisch has worked extensively in the areas of science education and inclusion.
Dr. Fisch is a recipient of the prestigious Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Teaching and is a fellow of the Golden Apple Academy of Educators. She majored in biology and earned her B.Ed. at Wisconsin State College-Whitewater, her M.Ed. at National-Louis University and her Ph.D. at Northwestern University.
