ECM Program Campus Residency
August 19-22, 2010 (Fall term)
Step 1: Book travel and lodging.
Both Hancock International Airport in Syracuse, NY and Albany International Airport in Albany are about the same distance from Utica College on the I-90 corridor.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Utica. This is where the social/dinner will be on Thursday night as well. A special rate of $79-99 (depending on time of year) for a single room per night has been arranged. You should contact the Hotel directly to reserve your room at (315) 797-8010. Mention to reservations that you are a Utica College student with the ECM residency. Mentioning your association to UC and the residency is required to be assured of the special rate. In addition, you can go to Radisson Hotel Online and book your room with the following code: ECM
Step 2: Order your books.
Utica College's online bookstore can be found here. Just enter in your term and class information and your books will come up! You can have them available at the bookstore to pick up when you get on campus, or have your books shipped to you.
Step 3: Check to see if any pre-residency assignments are due.
ECM 612 often has an introductory assignment. If there is a loss in communication, contact your instructor, Professor Ed Potter, at: epotter@utica.edu
Step 4: Print off the Utica College Campus Map.
We suggest entering campus from the Burrstone Road entrance (see map).
The residency is held in the Economic Crime and Justice Studies building (#7 on the map) which will be directly in front of you when you enter campus from Burrstone Road.

FAQ's:
Q: Do I need to bring my laptop?
A: Although it is not required, it would be helpful. There are assignments during the residency that you'll be required to complete. Utica College has laptops available to you if you do not want to travel with yours. If that is the case, please call the School of Graduate and Extended Studies at: (315) 792-3821
Q: I cannot see my course in Angel, why?
A: Chances are you have a past-due balance from previous courses, or you have not completed and/or send Utica College notification of your financial aid award (including loan counseling and the MPN). If you completed all of these steps, please call Ms. Karen Lorraine in Student Financial Services at: (315) 792-4400
