Benefits for Matriculated Continuing Education Students

Matriculated Students Can Lock Into CE Classes Early

Matriculated continuing education students now can join the ranks of traditional day students by pre-registering for the the next semester.

"This gives our students the opportunity to lock into courses, without having to arrange for payment until the traditional deadline," Evelyn Fazekas, director of credit programs explains.

Matriculated students are those who have applied to the college and have been admitted into a program of study. With it comes the benefit of having a full-time faculty member serve as an advisor. Matriculated students are also eligible to apply for financial aid as aid is also available for part-time students. (For more information on financial aid, please click here.) And, as a matriculated student, any changes made to the curriculum after the date of matriculation do not apply.

Non-matriculated students are defined as those who have not gone through the admissions process. If a student does not matriculate and declare a major, changes in curriculum could delay anticipated graduation dates.

In addition to the Continuing Education Schedule of Courses printed each semester, course schedules are also available on our website www.utica.edu, click on current students.
