Biography
Associate Professor of Computer Science at Utica College. Professor LaBella began his career at Utica College in 1982 after teaching high school level mathematics for ten years. He teaches both lower level and upper level computer courses including Microcomputers and Application Software, Computer Organization Concepts of Operating Systems, Concepts of Programming Languages, and Object Oriented Programming. His main interest lies in Digital circuit design. Professor LaBella earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Utica College and a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University. He is a member of the American Association of University Professors. His hobbies include the restoration of classic cars and motorcycles.

M y internship was in the legal department of a high-tech employer researching patents. Having a computer science background is really important to that type of work. Now I'm thinking about going to law school. There are a lot of options with this program.
